ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our customers is active in the B2B communications industry. They help Service Providers to deploy, manage and commercialize
cloud telephony and unified communications solutions.

Together we developed the UC Control Hub, a whitelabeled, brandable portal that is leveraged by several Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service Provider in the Europe, Africa, the Middle-East and the US to provide their customers (small to medium enterprises) a digital selfcare experience
to manage their cloud communication services.

The portal is used both by the technical staff of the Service Provider as well as the IT administrators and employees of the businesses actually using the communication services.

We’ve provided frontend development and UX design. The backend was developed by the customer. Also the QA processes were managed by the customer. The project was implemented from scratch on the basis of technical specifications provided by the customer.

When we started working on this project, the context was totally new for all of us since these kinds of telephony and unified communication solutions are far away from the day-to-day reality of our developers and designers. We had to learn many new and unknowns concepts like
auto attendants, hunt groups, call parking, flexible seating, etc.

The Shark Software team however plunged into the project and gained invaluable experience with a telecom product.

Another challenge lies in the fact that this project is an ongoing development and engagement.

The solution has grown over time. We deliver monthly bugfix releases. Each 3 to 4 months, we ship a new release bringing new features, integrations as well as UX improvements. The portal is extensive and will keep growing over time. Our team however works closely together with the customer to maintain the product and keep innovating.
